The Odoms, Apostles to the West Indies

Our Three Phases of Ministry In 1988 we graduated from Bible School and headed out in ministry in hopes of going to the mission field at that time. However, God had a different plan for our first phase of ministry. It was Associate Pastoral work where we would serve in virtually every area of ministry. We had great training under the leadership of our pastors for our first 10 years of ministry. Phase two of our ministry began when we stepped into the Senior Pastoral office and it has been a joy to serve Gods people for 22 years, making disciples who follow Jesus and developing leaders. Now we step in to the third phase of ministry, the apostolic call as sent ones. The office of an apostle is mentioned in not only in Ephesians chapter 4 as a gift Jesus gave to the church right along with prophet, evangelist, pastor and teacher, but also regarding the office Paul stood in, and the 70 Jesus sent out and several others. About 83 different people in the NT operated in the office of an apostle. It’s the Greek word apostolos. It means sent one, one with authority to establish works, a commissioner, which comes from the same word commission, the GREAT commission. All of this to say, pray with us as the Lord does a work in our hearts and fulfills His will in our lives and the lives of those He's sending us to.
